Who’s That Girl?

Cara Lisa Powers wears many hats. Most of them are cute. She’s good like that. Cara is a full time Media Education organizer at Project: Think Different, a media arts empowerment organization. She is also a member of Reflect & Strengthen, a graduate student at Goddard College, and a member of the Executive Committee of Whats Up magazine. A “second generation slam poet,” she spends a good deal of her “free time” writing and building her craft. A multi-tasker by trade, Cara dabbles in crafting, filmmaking, playwriting, and wrote a terrible novel when she was 21.  Also, she used to look like this:
